No school this week...

And it has been a strange one.
On Monday I got a phone call on my cell from the babysitter while I was at work that Keith's hand was slammed in the door and it was pretty bad. I rushed home and took him into the near by immediate care clinic. They took x-rays (nothing broken) but they had to remove his ring finger-nail on his right hand. OUCH!
On Tuesday my computer completely stopped working and I was trying to fix it for hours and hours. (I finally got it working last night)
On Wednesday I had a bad ear-ache which ended up being an Ear Infection (2nd visit to the clinic). The pain was so bad they gave me Vicodin- something I don't like to take because it makes me feel terrible. But at that point I decided I would be willing to do anything to take the pain away.
Yesterday I was in bed most of the morning recovering and in the afternoon Scott stuck his plastic bubble wands in our toaster and almost started a fire in our house.
On top of all this It has been raining most of the week. I guess we will just have to see what today brings.
OK I admit it sounds like I am complaing, but I am actually reporting facts! There were just not many positive things that happened this week. I will tell you that I thought several times this week how grateful I am for many things like- Cell phones, Immediate Care Clinics, a friend who helped with Scott while I was at the clinic with Keith, Numbing Medication, Vicodin, Antibiotics, Warm Beds, Working Internet and Computers, Heaters, and for the Rain I guess!

Just think almost all those things you listed as being thankful for will not be available for the family camping trip in August. We are still trying to decide....ohhh the hard decisions to make! Hope this week is a better one for ya!

So sorry all that happened! Hope you are feeling better. Poor Scotty and his toaster obsession. haha.
I guess that's what happens when you do a post about how good life is. LOL! Opposition in all things, right?? :P
