I know many of you noticed that my child was wearing several colorful wristbands around his ankles and thought "how strange!"
He finally took them off!! The final count was 14 +/- a few that had broken.
It all started about three years ago when Todd came home from an A's game with two Livestrong like wristbands. Todd wore one for a couple weeks and Keith was determined to also. He uncomfortably tried to keep it on his wrist and finally said "mom this is Too Big!" It was then that I suggested he put it on his ankle. At the time I had no idea far he would go with it.
One turned into two, then three, then four and finally onto the other foot. I even think there were some friends who followed his example and wore one for a week or two here and there. For some reason I never said anything to him. I would never allow him to leave the house with clothes that didn't match but he went to church every week, was baptized, and even took an expensive family portrait with his wrist bands visible.

I don't believe it! Did he say why?
Why did he finally take them off?? I can't believe he had that many of them on!
Sorry it took me so long to respond we went to Disneyland yet again. I just got back.
I truly didn't mean to dog you. Mark kind of pissed me off and I wanted to make sure I had enough time to see some friends and family. Last time I got chewed out by my grandma for not seeing her while I was here. I ended up spending 2 days with her. I cleaned her house one day and we went to lunch another.
I didn't think you would be coming as soon as you were. I thought I would be waiting around until late Wednesday or Thursday. I'm sorry I truly wanted to see you and spend time with you. But I just felt at the time that I needed to get OUT of TULARE!
Amber - It is Jenny (Devlin) Atwood. I found your blog through another one. It has been fun to catch up on your family. I hope all is well! I will have to check back and see what is new.
