Looks like fun! I love those great places to hike close to home. We have a great place here, It is what the town is named after; Castle Rock. The kids love to hike to the very top! Miss you guys!

I just could not help myself; I had to add that, it was a pretty important part of the hike. We were walking and I suddenly looked back and he was right in the middle of it. I had to take the picture!
(hopefully one day soon we will teach him to be a little more discreet)
oh my gosh!! i'm in wendy & mike's ward here in castle rock but i totally grew up right by chico and i haven't been there in years! what a wonderful thing to come across this post of pictures of bidwell park! we used to go there all the time as a kid.....wow....how cool is that!?
