His purpose is to brush until my hair comes out and fills the brush.
He wants to brush my hair all the time! He brushes my hair in bed to wake me up in the morning, he follows me around the house reaching up for a brush or two when he can.
I can't decide how I feel about it...
Pros
• He can be pre-occupied for over a half an hour at a time
• He is close by and not doing anything mischievous
• It is harmless- well maybe not for my hair -mostly harmless-
• He sits quietly during scriptures and Family Home Evening
• It feels good about 20% of the time
• It's kind of funny
Cons
• It hurts 80% of the time
• I can NEVER find a brush!
• He brushes Newman's hair! -YUCK!!! (Newman has a lot of brushes by default now)
• My hair is thinner (I guess that can be a pro. too considering I pay to have my hair thinned out- but it just seems wrong)
• It's kind of weird
• Did I say I can NEVER FIND A BRUSH?!!!!
Should I just cut my hair?

I could use some hair thinning too... Scottie! Come to my house! Plus, you left a couple of brushes here last time, so I even have your favorite tools on hand for the job.
i always felt like your hair was too thick anyway.....j/k do you think this obsession will fade??
that's funny. I have three that like to do that...all at once...yah. Kinda hurts. And I usually like to have my hair played with.
I just hide my brushes! :) But if it keeps him occupied, grin and bare it! Like I have! hahaha!
great for Newman, except Newman must hurt a lot of the time too. yikes. thanks for posting, Amber. i love to know what your little guy is doing, and the handsome big brother as well. i never tire of hearing of the antics. and it always surprises me what he comes up with. wow !
