Although our back yard is no golf course Todd is just as frustrated as this guy!
The other night I found Todd at 3:00 a.m. out on the grass near a Gopher mound. The next day I asked him what he was doing and he said "waiting for it to come out so I can kill it."
There was no dead Gopher that night. Every morning he wakes up to see how many new mounds have been created and spends time out working on some Gopher ridding activity before he goes to work. This morning the Gopher came out while he was outside and he stood there waiting for it for a while he then came inside and told me I needed to wait by the hole with a shovel and kill it when it came out. I think he understood how I felt about it because soon after I saw Keith out there standing over the hole with a shovel. I couldn't help but laugh.
We have tried many things so far but have only killed two and they are getting more and more feisty. Today just for Todd I am going back to OSH for more supplies.
Once we rid our yard completely we will probably celebrate with a night of Caddyshack and laughter.

You've already killed two?!
I may try to catch Caddyshack myself in honor of your struggles...
...and in gratitude for the absence of gophers in my own yard (which gratitude I didn't even know I had until now).
that made me laugh so hard.
have you tried to flush 'em out with a hose yet?? hahahaaa
I can just picture it now....
This is Richard. Go to Youtube and search for videos for a machine called the "Rodenator". Just search under that word. I guarantee you it will get rid of all your gophers in the first time. It's amazing. I think Todd will love it.
LOL! I'm totally impressed that you've killed 2! Nice work! And btw, Richard told me about the gophernator too (rodenator...whatever...). You should try it and let me know if it works so I can try! Good luck!
